Some of you may know that I’ve been struggling with determining a health issue right now. My doctor either said, “it’s MS or neuropathy”… but it could be something different or something simple.
We just don’t know.
It scares me sometimes, I’m not going to lie, but most of the time it’s allowed me to be in a space of being completely present because I have no control over the situation.
I prefer coming from gratitude and being present versus being in fear… it’s much more fun and empowering.
This space of being present and understanding the importance of following my purpose has taken the highest priority for me.
My purpose is to help others by sharing my experiences, healing, and anything that may help others on their journey.
I always start with: What do I have control over?
That’s where the action is.
I don’t have control over other people, places, things, or even some situations. That’s what I hand over to The Divine.
I do have control over my own reactions, my outlook on any given situation, my ability to reach out and help others, and of course how I take care of myself. (Check back for new articles that will drop on these topics!)
If you can’t tell by now, I am a very positive person, always have been. Super glass-half-full kind of person – I can always find something to be grateful for.
This wasn’t a skill that came easy to me all the time – years ago I used to be very negative, dark, and hopeless a lot of the time.
It’s taken a lot of work to get to where I am and I’m eternally grateful for my journey.
So, the other day I was told by someone at work that “I have a reputation for looking at the world through rose-colored glasses”… and it wasn’t meant in a nice way, at all.
They aren’t rose-colored glasses – it’s my good vibes of Gratitude and Faith in The Divine.
If they think I have rose-colored glasses… that’s fine because pink looks good on me!
Those “rose-colored glasses”, or what I know is gratitude and faith in The Divine, are what’s gotten me through this health scare… AND SO MANY of life’s hardships like grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
So when a fear-based person calls my gratitude, good vibes, and faith in the universe “rose-colored glasses” I think that’s a compliment.
The world has enough fear, scrutiny, and an ego-based collective consciousness… I think it’s literally my purpose to not be this way.
So, I ordered some rose-colored glasses from Amazon.
If more of us are positive, kind, raise our vibration, we will collectively raise the vibration of our species.
Ok, some of you are totally on board with the concept of “vibes” and others may be questioning… my vibration? Is that even a thing…
My vibration? For those of you asking, what does that even mean and is that really a thing…
According to Chopra Center, you know our old friend Deepok’s site, they define it like this: “A vibration is a state of being, the atmosphere, or the energetic quality of a person, place, thought, or thing.”
“When you are vibrating at a higher level, you feel lighter, happier, and more at ease, whereas lower vibrations feel heavy, dark, and confused.” – Chopra Center.
Certain emotions we feel vibrate at different levels.
See, we are all made of energy, are cells are energy, and our energy is in a constant state of movement. We are all vibrating at a specific frequency.
Since we are all vibrating at a frequency – those frequencies attract similar frequencies. It’s simple physics.
So, shout out to all of us to choose to vibrate on a higher level!
No matter what life throws at us – we can find gratitude – sometimes quickly and other times not as quickly but we must not let the fear-based side of our species and our own minds – dim our light!
My wish for you all is to remain strong, grateful, and positive no matter what life throws at you.
